The Real Ghostbusters continues where the first movie left off, with the four Ghostbusters facing forces of the supernatural. Helping out the Ghostbusters would be their secretary, Janine Melnitz, and (eventually) Louis Tully. Also joining in would be the green ghost busted at the Sedgewick Hotel in the first movie, which was given the name Slimer.

The Ghostbusters investigate several supernatural incidents which lead to them visiting a woman whose home is at the centre of where the events took place. They discover that she is linked to the events and that her ex-boyfriend, named Jeremy, has warned her of his prediction of the events and his intention to bring about the end of the world through what is known as Ragnarok. Meanwhile, Jeremy is possessed by a demon after initiating the beginning of Ragnarok. The Ghostbusters soon have to deal with Jeremy when he arrives in New York with his aide, DiTillio, intending see out his plans for Armageddon.

The Ghostbusters are hired by a mysterious man named Gregore, leader of a small secluded village called Lupusville, that is located deep in the woods, to get rid of a coven of vampires. As they investigate, it turns out that all of the residents are vampires, having their own unusual servants as well. One group is led by Gregore, who took over the town and wishes to come out into the modern world. The other group is led by the old vampire leader, an unnamed vampire who wishes to keep their existence a secret from the world. While Ray and Peter are captured/recruited by the forest vampires after a desperate fight, Egon and Winston are held captive by Gregore and his followers, who want to use them to eliminate their enemies.

An Irish castle is moved into Central Park. Soon it comes out that the castle if full with ghostly warriors who hate the relocating. The Ghostbusters have to fight the warriors and reclaim Manhattan.

Janine turns Ghostbuster after her apartment becomes haunted and the team are busy dealing with a backlog of jobs throughout the city. The Ghostbusters are captured by the demon, Proteus, during a battle with a possessed Atlas statue, and are being held captive. Janine, with the help of Slimer, become the team's only hope of escaping the clutches of Proteus.

A book called 'The Codex of St. Theophilus' is missing from an abbey in Greece since 1600s. It turned up at a New York auction and is purchased by Peter. The Ghostbusters are unaware that the sealed volume contains within it the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

Slimer is blamed by Peter for the fall in the Ghostbusters' finances. So he heads off and in a chance meeting, befriends a young student called Mike who is continually being picked on by a group of bullies. Slimer offers to become Mike's bodyguard and scares off the bullies, the bullies retaliate by finding help of their very own in the form of Barrowhites. But the plan backfires and soon the Ghostbusters get involved to get rid of the Barrowhites before the situation gets out of hand.

55 S2E42: Last Train to Oblivion 21 min | Nov 24, 1987

The ghost of Casey Jones returns and takes over a locomotive for one last midnight ride. Despite his love for trains, a kidnapped Peter would rather be somewhere else in case history repeats itself and the train crashes.

56 S2E43: Masquerade 21 min | Dec 01, 1987

Young Kenny is the Ghostbusters biggest fan. After he enjoyed a tour of the Firehouse, Kenny desperately tries to convince his friends that he is a member of the Ghostbusters' team. In order to do that he enters a haunted house with one of Egon's latest inventions.

57 S2E44: Janine's Day Off 21 min | Sep 14, 1987

Janine takes the day off to take Egon to visit her family, only for them to be called back to headquarters after Slimer inadvertently activates a dimensional gate machine created by Egon, which allows a group of miniature demons to pass into the real world. Things take a turn for the worst when the demons combine to make one giant demon and it runs amok throughout New York. Meanwhile, Janine and Louise (Janine's temporary cover), along with Slimer, are left at HQ to battle against a trio of spirits who have passed through the dimensional gate after Louise activates the machine for a second time.

58 S2E45: The Ghostbusters in Paris 21 min | Oct 23, 1987

The Ghostbusters arrive in Paris after workmen on the Eiffel Tower accidentally break into Monsieur Eiffel's secret lab. The workers damage a device that unleashes thousands of ghost. The Ghostbusters discover that the Eiffel Tower is a giant Containment Unit.

59 S2E46: The Devil in the Deep 21 min | Dec 04, 1987

The lord and ruler of the sea elementals named Necksa strikes out at the air-breathers who have been polluting the oceans. When the Ghostbusters attempt to stop him, Egon, Ray, and Winston are swallowed by the creature. Alone Peter must save the others.

The Ghostbusters pay a visit to the small town of Tombstone, Arizona, where the spirits of Doc Holliday and the Earps materialize, intent on recreating the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.

A paranormal convention comes to New York.The Ghostbusters are called into action. But they are forbidden by the hotel's manager from using their technology for fear of disturbing another group - a convention of dentists.

During a magic show by the Great Calamari, a ghost appears. The ghost manages to escape from the trap. Peter finds himself trapped in a strange dimension when he enters a cabinet. The others soon discover the ghost is Houdini, the famous escape artist. He's after Calamari for stealing tricks from his secret notes. Once Peter escapes, Calamari is ready to send them all to another dimension.

The Ghostbusters receive a possessed geranium as a gift. They quickly give the gift to Janine. The plant soon grows and begins to overthrow New York.

The Thanksgiving Day parade gets interrupted when spirits from an old morgue take over a balloon of a praying mantis. The Ghostbusters release the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from the Containment Unit to fight the huge monster.

A funfair owned by a crooked businessman runs into trouble when his unofficial Ghostbusters roller-coaster ride becomes haunted by many spirits. The Ghostbusters are soon called into action when the ride transforms and holds several citizens captive.

The Babylonian god of the city Marduk has come to live in New York. But his age-old enemy has followed him.

At a museum, three ancient stones are reunited. This event unleashes dinosaurs and a very powerful demon. As the Ghostbusters fail to do anything, it comes to light that Winston is the only one who can deal with the demon.

The spirit of detective Phillip Spade aids the Ghostbusters to catch a cursed Ghost named Blackey. To set things right, the guys must find King Todd's treasure and return it to the museum before the ancient ghost demolishes them.

A ghost called Buster tries to get a job with the Ghostbusters after failing to hold down many other jobs. But even helping out proves to be a problem for Buster after a whole host of ghosts descend on the fire house which causes an energy build up so big that it puts the whole universe under threat.

Winston and Ray get on a game show that unknown to them is run by a demon, and if they lose, the cost is their souls.

After Slimer messes up an experiment, his mind and Egon's are swapped. Facing a ghostly invasion of New York, the Ghostbusters must find a way to swap Egon and Slimer's minds back and save the city from destruction.

Egon is transformed into a ghost after the team's de-stabler weapon backfires during a battle with a demon. The rest of the Ghostbusters have to act quickly in order to restore Egon back to normal before before time runs out.

Ray is distraught when he discovers his favourite comic, Captain Steel, is to be cancelled. But Ray and the rest of the Ghostbusters get more than they bargained for when Captain Steel and his arch enemy, Dr Destructo, emerge from a page from the last edition of the comic to do battle with one another in the real world. The Ghostbusters team with Captain Steel to defeat Dr Destructo after he takes control of the fire house.

75 S2E62: Victor the Happy Ghost 21 min | Oct 15, 1987

At a museum, the Ghostbusters trap a small and harmless ghost. After they take him to the Firehouse, the ghost is accidentally released and it's decided he won't be put into the Containment Unit. The Ghostbusters adopt him as a pet. However Slimer soon finds out a suspicious dark side of the new tenant.

A dragon created by Egon's ancestor is accidentally summoned from a well and mistakes Egon for it's master, while the Beast causes unintentional mayhem to the city.

The Ghostbusters decide to take a vacation after several long months of 'busting and head off to Ray's cousin's farm in the countryside. But their vacation is cut short when they discover all is not well on the farm.

The Ghostbusters are shocked when at a haunted house, they discover that through every hole in the wall a ghost appears. The scary part comes when, the bigger the hole, the bigger the ghost.

During a rare eclipse of the moon, a rip between dimensions opens; allowing a small friendly ghost to wander off into New York and Slimer decides to look after it. When the ghost's parents come looking for their baby, the Ghostbusters mistakenly capture them. They soon realise their error - but not before the baby disappears again - can they reunite the spooky family before the eclipse is over?

80 S3E2: It's a Jungle Out There 22 min | Sep 19, 1987

As a professor's exotic treasures are unloaded on the harbour, a 3,000-year-old statue is accidentally dropped, releasing an ancient animal demon into New York City. The creature has the power to give all the animals in the city the ability to talk and interact just like humans and it isn't long before he's using them in his evil plan to take over the world.

The fear caused by Egon's near death experience at the World Trade Center enables the Boogeyman to come out of hiding.

One night Slimer hides his favourite book of fairytales under one of Egon's newest machines to stop Ray taking it back to the library. Only when the Ghostbusters wake they find that the machine has made everything in the book come to life. From Little Bo Peep to Jack and the Beanstalk - all the fairytales have become one giant reality!

83 S3E5: The Two Faces of Slimer 22 min | Oct 17, 1987

An ectoplasmic entity leaks out of the containment unit one night and it makes Slimer turn into a big ugly monster during his sleep. One transformation too many and their spooky green buddy will become his alter ego permanently. Can the Ghostbusters figure out a cure before Slimer falls asleep again?

The president of the Stay Puft Company persuades the Ghostbusters to release the giant Marshmallow Man from the containment unit to shoot a commercial - if they do it he'll give $50,000 to the children's hospital. However, during the process of getting Stay Puft out, a vicious phantom escapes intent on seeking revenge against the Ghostbusters.

It's Halloween on the streets of New York City - the Junior Ghostbusters favourite time of year. But when goblins release Samhain, the spirit of Halloween, from the containment unit, the Firehouse becomes his fortress. The Ghostbusters attempts to stop the powerful spirit are foiled as the kids are captured by Samhain and they must send Slimer in to get them out.

A family call the Ghostbusters out to their spooky mansion in the middle of nowhere. There have been some weird goings on and they need the guys to stop the paranormal activity before their guests arrive for a big family reunion the next day.
