What About Brian: Season 2

Brian returns home six months after leaving town.

Adam and Marjorie's wedding day has arrived, but Brian and the wedding party aren't letting it go by quietly. Nicole gets a unexpected call from her husband Angelo who is still in Italy. The story of how Adam and Brian met Marjorie is told.

Adam and Brian come to blows when their friends bring them together.

Brian and Adam bet to see who can get a girl first.

Everyone attends Angelo's funeral and tries to help Nicole deal with her loss.Zap Monkey is in financial ruin and Brian is forced to reconsider working for his father. Dave and Deena talk more about divorce and Adam is concerned over becoming partner with his firm and the direction his life has taken as his relationship with Heather continues.

Brian still has misgivings about working for his father. He is told to shadow an established agent...Bridget, whom he is attracted to. Nicole is prescribed Grief Therapy by her doctor. Dave is having a difficult time accepting his new position at KC and Deena thinks about getting a cupcake business going. Adam and Heather continue with their relationship, despite warnings from Jimmy, to a surprising climax.

Ivy sets up a 'Speed Dating' game at the bar in an attempt to attract more women. Brian, Dave, Jimmy and Bridget all participate. Adam and Heather start to realize that they really don't know each other well enough to be married and consider an annulment. Deena's cupcake business is starting to get off the ground and Nicole assumes partnership and tries to take over the business end.

Brian is throwing a wedding party for Adam and Heather and still pursuing Bridget. She lets him know she is involved in an 'On Again-Off Again' relationship. Jimmy runs a background check on Heather and finds info Adam knew nothing about. Nicole continues her grief therapy and begins investigating Angelo's fatal crash. Dave and Deena's separation begins to have repercussions with Larissa at her school while Deena continues exploring her relationship with TK. Brian discovers disturbing info regarding the identity of the 'On Again-Off Again' guy.

For their participation in the bar fight at Ivy's Adam and Brian are sentenced to a night of work at a homeless shelter. Nicole, feeling as if she is about to burst, tries varying methods to induce labor. TK woos Deena and flies her to San Francisco for a glamorous date but she realizes there is no chemistry between them. Dave's date with 'Sandwich Girl' goes great until she tells him her age. Bridget comes down to the shelter in an attempt to talk to Brian about their relationship and Adam starts to feel guilty about being a lawyer and if the people he helps are the people who really need help in our society. Brian and Nicole's mother comes into town and they have a reunion.

Brian's dad organizes a company overnight retreat to Ojai and attendance is mandatory. Adam wants Heather to quit dancing but it is her source of income and she is reluctant and wants Adam to just be supportive. Dave tells Nicole that he will go to the hospital with her when she's ready and this leads to a misunderstanding between Deena and Nicole. Bridget is actively pursuing Brian at the retreat while he tries to maintain a distance but his will is beginning to crack. Brian's dad attempts to better his relationship with Brian and Nicole's water breaks and she is off to the hospital.

Adam and Heather return home and discover they have been victimized by a thief and Heather believes she knows who did it. There is a daycare facility at Dave's office now and he has helped Roxanne get a job there and begins bringing the girls there after school. Brian and Bridget have 'the exes' talk and Brian is closemouthed about the Marjorie relationship which backfires on him. Roxanne makes an alarming discovery about Carrie's hearing and a doctor's prognosis is not good. Adam and Jimmy confront Schmitty the former customer of Heather's they think is responsible for the break in which at first seems to go well but could have more legal repercussions later. Dave and Deena discover Marjorie's name on list of pediatricians and make contact with her regarding Carrie.

Brian and Adam on a double date with Bridgit and Heather see Marjorie while she is consulting with Deena at a restaurant. Marjorie informs Dave and Deena that Carrie could have a cochlear implant surgery to help her hearing. Schmitty continues with his lawsuit against Heather for false promises. Brian and Bridgit's relationship enters the 6 week phase and he begins nitpicking and listing her annoying qualities. Brian denies it but everyone says it's his 'afraid to commit' pattern that is surfacing. Nicole is having a difficult time choosing the right nanny for Bella. Carrie's 1 year old birthday party is awkward for everyone. Mrjorie declares her feelings and intentions regarding Adam.

Bridget informs Brian that his dad is selling the lake house and Brian fondly recalls the great times he spent there with his friends. Dave thinks it would be a great idea to gather together one last time there and the wheels are put in motion for a weekend getaway. Heather confronts Marjorie about her intentions towards Adam and does not join the lake house party. While there Dave and Deena reach a mutual agreement regarding Carrie's surgery. Bridget is reluctant to attend without Nicole being there because she feels as if Deena and Ivy don't like her. Adam and Marjorie get closer and Adam reaches decisions regarding Heather and Marjorie. When Brian and Bridget return to work they receive shocking news.

Adam is determined to make partner and swears off women, dating and sex until he does. Carrie's surgery goes well and they should know in about a month if it was successful. Brian's dad is still at large with the company funds and the IRS has seized all company property...including Bridgit's condo. Two weeks later Birdgit and Brian are living together and driving each other crazy. Brian accepts a job as building manager at the apartment which infuriates Bridgit and two 'Hey Jimmys' move in downstairs. Dave moves out of Brian's and eventually works out a compatible arrangement with Deena regarding moving back in and Nicole tries to return to work but finds she no longer has anything in common with her coworkers. Everyone is impressed with how well Jaime is doing with Bella.

Nicole has a 'sex' dream about Jamie her 'manny'. KC Gaming loses a hostile takeover bid and Dave's new boss, Natasha Drew, was once his intern. Bridget goes to Phoenix for a few days on business and the 'hotties' downstairs throw a party at Brian's apartment when theirs suffers water damage. Dave and Deena are adjusting to their new living arrangement and begin making overtures towards one another. The sexual tension between Nicole and Jamie continues to heat up and she contemplates letting him go. Brian is hired on at KC Gaming and Adam makes Peter Green's team at the firm and notices some unethical practices.

Dave and Deena are growing closer while Brian and Bridget seem to be drifting apart. Dave is hoping for a promotion to V.P. but family responsibilities pull him away from the office. Carrie's surgery hasn't gone as well as hoped. Natasha is on a firing spree at KC Gaming and wants Adam to be her legal counsel. Adam makes partner and attempts to end his vow of celibacy. He tries to score with Natasha and Stephanie. Brian has a very impressive presentation of Berrytown to the board of Gotham Enterprises and Natasha makes him a professional offer which if he accepts could jeopardize his friendship with Dave. Jamie confesses to Nicole about his sexual preference and Adam and Nicole find solace with each other. Brian and Bridget's relationship continues to spiral down.

Adam and Nicole deal with the aftereffects of sleeping together while trying to keep the others from finding out. Dave runs into Richard while dropping the kids off at school and also finds out that Brian has been offered and accepted the position of V.P. at K.C. Gaming. Deena's mother Frankie is visiting and unaware that Dave and Deena are reconciling hurts Dave by telling him he is holding Deena back and is no longer right for her. Laura attempts to cheer Brian up after his breakup with Bridget while Brian agrees to accompany Stephanie to her movie premiere. Natasha and Adam get closer and everyone is surprised at the size of Jimmy and Ivy's house where a secret about Ivy's past is revealed.

Brian is named Stephanie's 'worst accessory' in a tabloid magazine. Nicole gets a chilly reception from the younger mothers in her Moms and Us class. Adam and Natalie decide to have a sex-only relationship with no dating or emotions to interfere. Dave is having a hard time dealing with his feelings regarding Richard and it doesn't help when both chaperon a field trip. The secret of Adam and Nicole's night together is getting harder and harder to keep secret. Deena and Nicole open up a cupcake shop and Dave decides to move forward in his relationship with Deena.

Dave and Deena's plans for a secret wedding turns chaotic.
