Cosmos
Kozmosz
Cosmos is an award-winning television mini-series created and narrated by the legendary astronomer and author Carl Sagan. Each episode takes a practical look at either our universe or what lies beyond it in the depths of space, and the film is presented primarily in layman’s terms as to avoid the confusion of astronomical lingo. Beyond just the topics of space, Sagan in this series explores the origins and meanings of life, space exploration, and the prospect of global warming that at the film’s conception seemed ludicrous. While much of this series is scientific theory, much of what it presents is extremely interesting and captivating to not only scientists, but regularly well informed individuals.
