Hasan follows new leads. Hillinghead reluctantly closes his case and Whiteman goes to desperate lengths.

Connections between the cases come into focus. Whiteman encounters a complication; Hillinghead attends a séance.

The past, present and future collide as a set of fingerprints from 1890 are found in 2023. Maplewood makes a discovery.
