Notes

Here's looking at Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman in one of the most popular films ever made. Criterion's two editions are renowned for their remastered audio and video transfers. Both contain an informative audio commentary by film historian Ronald Haver. (And to think that the film, directed by Michael Curtiz, was originally slated as a Ronald Reagan vehicle!)

The deluxe CAV special edition also contains:

Production photos and publicity materials
Producer Hal Wallis' editing notes
Original theatrical trailer
Excerpts from the Lux radio version of Casablanca, starring Hedy Lamarr and Alan Ladd
Wartime footage of the city of Casablanca
