Eight college friends head to a "Haunted Rental" in a remote town for Halloween weekend. There, they play the game rumored to have caused the deaths of seven teenagers decades earlier, Truth or Dare. What starts out as vodka induced fun, quickly turns serious when the dares become sickeningly dangerous and the truths threaten to tear the group apart. When players attempt to refuse the increasingly challenging tasks, they're met with deadly consequences, quickly discovering: you must do the dare, or the dare does you. As the death toll mounts, the remaining players must race against the clock to outrun, outsmart and outlast the simple game of Truth or Dare.

My quick rating - 5,2/10. This movie is really a run of the mill possession horror movie, where the demon is unleashed, and wants to basically kill everyone. But their are rules, once you play truth or dare, you have to keep playing, tell the truth, or die. And since the demon gives the ideas for each question, or dare, minus the obvious "two girls make out" thing that every guy who has played the game has tried (and usually fails). So the truths are always something hugely important, and damaging. The dares are always something that will kill you, or not do, which kills you anyway. All very run of the mill, and the acting is just kind of there. The smiles the possessed don was creepy at first, but gets a bit annoying by the end. Although it helps the viewer to know who has been taken over. There really is no rhyme or reason, aside from the turn order, to when the spirit comes and goes. I would rate this movie lower, since up until the end, it did nothing to stand out, but the ending boosts up the points since it may seem simple but the meaning of what is done is actually quite brilliant. I may be overthinking the end since it is similar to a short story ending I came up with years ago, but no, I am not saying exact. I can't go into detail, since I don't do that to you all. Check it out for a standard horror flick, and after the end, think about it....
