Based on the manga series "Shingeki no Kyojin" by Hajime Isayama (first published September 9, 2009 by Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen Magazine). The story of Attack on Titan centers around the adventures of Eren Yeager, his adopted sister Mikasa Ackerman, and their friend Armin Arlert. After the wall which protects their hometown of Shinganshina is breached by Titans, Eren watches in horror as one of them eats his mother. Vowing to kill all Titans, Eren enlists in the military along with his friends.

My quick rating 6,9/10. If you are looking for a truly original and completely bizarre movie, this is it. The summary doesn't tell you this great plot. Titans (giants that eat humans like potato chips) are kept out of a city by a giant wall. Well, of course the Titans get in and destroy the city and eat any human they can get their hands on, and in very gory fashion. The visuals in this movie are stunning. Obviously the military finds a way to fight back, sorta (hard to explain) and that is the extent of the movie. Nice 90 minutes so it doesn't drag on, although I personally wanted it to. This is a must see for any type of movie fan that isn't against weird fantasy and violence. Go in open minded and you will enjoy this one.
