Notes

My quick rating - 7,0/10. So very interesting to see a movie that is literally still unfolding right in front of our eyes. Oliver Stone delivers another very strong biopic which is his forte about someone that a lot of people don't know anything about. Everyone seems to know his name, but not really what he is doing or did. This movie does give some insight into why he leaked the classified information to the press. Of course through the power of film making, that message is overstated to give it more of a punch. Truth is, even as there is more to the story still, the fact that this basically "fell" into the lap of your everyday IT guy (wink) is somewhat plausible. Anyway, very solid performances, great direction, and of course some fun, geeky talk and humor. It must be close to Oscar time.....side note, I had no idea he was in the military.
