Notes

My quick rating - 5,6/10. More of a drama then horror outside the creatures that now roam the earth are evolved zombie-type things. The beginning shows a tragic and sudden event that alters the planet and causes everyone to flee for safety. Two men and a child are lone survivors, one being a personal favorite of mine and turning in a quality performance (Jeffrey Donovan from Burn Notice). The acting in this film is above average and really keeps the intensity going without being a non-stop zombie attack. The creatures in this movie are also very creepy looking, definitely not your average walking dead. Throughout the movie, the two men who were enemies have to put that outside to survive. Along the way, they encounter a pregnant woman as well and the four struggle to survive the now barren wasteland of Earth. For a minimal budget and unknown cast and crew mostly, the movie is effective and worth watching. Just don't expect an all out zombie flick but one with focus on the story just as much as the monsters out to eat them.
