My quick rating - 5,9/10. I did recall seeing this, but don't think I reviewed it. Anyway, I liked the claustrophobic nature of this movie. The tension is played out very well and the actors acted reasonably normal, meaning there wasn't an overload of saying "why in the hell did he/she do that?" which occurs in so many horror flicks. But the highlight of this movie is the deranged home invaders reason for torturing this family. "Because you were home." (not a spoiler, movie is too old, and in the trailer they say it There are quite a few nice jump scares and though we don't really know anything about those that did it (and apparently, no one does since it is based on a true story), this unsure feeling just adds to the fear instilled throughout. A good movie in its simplicity.
