Ravenous

Mexican-American war soldier Captain John Boyd (Guy Pearce) is stationed out in the sticks after an act of valor proves to have just been cowardice. Along with a motley crew, he fights off cabin fever until the meeting of a frost-bitten man named Colqhoun (Robert Carlyle). Claiming to have been spared a cannibalistic fate by the leader of his party, the soldiers go on a hunt for survivors, following Colqhoun to the cave where the horrors took place. Inevitably, much blood winds up being shed as well as Boyd learning he and the others around him are not "too human" to be above the eating of human flesh...
