Based on horrific true events, a handsome young soccer player Jake Graham who believes he is going insane, is unable to shake the feeling of being stalked by something, by someone. His friends and everyone around him believe he’s just anxious and prone to paranoia but Jake is actually being followed by a small group of serial killers led by a deformed and terrifying “guru”.

My quick rating - 3,8/10. A really slow movie is the first thought that comes to mind. Half the movie was done before anything really happened and even after that, then it slows back down to a snails pace. The point is about college kids being found dead on the beach and a smiley face painted at the scene. But they try to explain it away in an urban legend fashion. Just not something cool like stand in front of a mirror and say Candyman. Naw, this is random people, or in this movies case, person, chosen to be sacrificed by some cult, or something like that. Not much development at all into the why and the antagonists have zero depth at all. The victims in this all are oblivious to everything happening around them so they end up dead. Then the movie ends with a setup for the next "chosen" one, or sequel most likely. I cannot see why one would want to watch another one of these since this one was unfulfilling but I suppose you never know.
