The lives of Dr. Judah Rosenthal (Martin Landau) and expositional filmmaker Cliff Stern Woody Allen) intersect when the two are stuck making extremely difficult moral decisions which will change their lives forever. Rosenthal is a love with the lovely Dolores Paley (Anjelica Huston), who he has been seeing secretly for years as he is already married. When she gives him an ultimatum to either marry her or leave her, which result in his outing as an adulterer, he plans to kill her. Stern is faced with a similar dilemma when he is forced to make a fluff piece for his obnoxious brother in law. The men must now make these incredibly difficult decisions that may cost them their lives and reputations.

Sett i svart-hvitt. Under vanlig Woody
Allen-standard.
